Creative software leaders MetaTools and Fractal Design Corp. have merged to form MetaCreations Corp., which offers software for video and digital editing, animation and 3D graphics. Fractal Design makes Expression and Painter 5, among other programs, while MetaTools' offerings include Kai's Power Tools and Kai's Power GOO.
